plus my dad always said its like anything else, nobody sells anything thats in perfect shape, or without anything wrong. Either there selling cause they upgraded cause theres was so slow and the cfm was a lie or they destroyed the unit but got it running just long enough to sell.

I'm not trying to complicate your decision but I went through the same research process a couple of years ago. I had narrowed it down to the Champion or an Eaton unit. Eaton is a polarizing company. People seem to either love them or hate them but nobody really seemed to have an issue with the product or replacement parts. They seem to underdrive their pumps so they run pretty slowly. Ultimately I ended up buying a "scratch and dent" model from a seller on Ebay. The seller is Airpro-1 and he usually has a few Belaire units. Most have scratched paint or a broken switch or a cracked plastic housing and they tend to go for about half of what they cost new.

I bought a Belaire 5hp QP series for around $1300 (IIRC). Normally it's around $3,000 but that's a heck of a premium for a insulated tote over the motor and an exhaust fan. It's been very good so far.

so the first quincy i posted should be able to keep up with my blast cabinets 10-15cfm requirements. Ill spend the extra on a champion if its needed but i dont know the best route thatll make me happiest. craigslist is ok for used stuff but im kinda over the meeting sketchy people who one day will be what kills me haha.

Yeah! No $hit on your last remark. In my area I have done some CL looking and these people are out in the sticks and I wonder if I am going to come out alive. Not much is good on CL in my area anyway. And it sure isn't worth my life!!!:scared:
