I installed (Mannington Assurance) tiles over a smooth concrete surface in my garage aprox. 5 years ago using the recommended MT-711 adhesive. These tiles are 18 x18, and were a little pricey. I will say with over 5 years in use with floor jacks, jack stands etc. ,the floor still look like new. Maybe 2 or 3 times a year I mop with some floor cleaner. Has anybody else tried this product?

I'm curious to know more about these, I'm about to close on my house tomorrow (after 3 months of working on paperwork) and one of my first projects is tackling the garage. I'm leaning toward tile (VCT or porcelain) but I'm very interested to know more about the tiles you used.

That looks similar to a VCT with a dimpled surface and in an 18" size. I would think it might be less slippery and possibly show less scratching. I assume the color goes all the way through, looks interesting, what type of climate do you love in?
