Manual for Matco or Fox Valley ET686 Analyzer?

Hello collective,

I come to you hat in hand after more than an hour of googling and searching forums for a pdf of the manual for the above analyzer I have to admit defeat. Does anyone have a manual that they can scan or a source I may knot have thought of? Matco's site doesn't list one and customer service is non-responsive (its old, can't blame them).

This looks to be made by Fox Valley and sold under that name with the same ET686 number.

If nothing else, does anyone know how to use it? If figure clamps to the battery, inductive pickup to plug #1, red little clamps to coil + (??) and green little clamp to ground (??).

Update, Matco got back to me today, no luck on the manual, they note this product was discontinued in 1990.

Has anyone used one before? I think I can figure it out apart from the two small clamps which are color coded red and green. I'm guessing red to coil + and green to ground, sound plausible?

You can tell from the image to the left that the patient is fragile if not challenged electrics area so I want to get the connects right.
