I have this GE CR1062R3AAP2000 manual motor starter, I wanted to use as a starting device for a RPC idler motor "ON/OFF". After looking at the GE page I need to order "heaters" separately. Will this work for my application or should I use a disconnect. Where does the heater go? Thanks

They go on the bottom pairs of screws, below the red button. Are you trying to protect the RPC, if not just jumper them.

So I can use a jumper from L-1 to L-2 on the bottom screws. Thanks

Well after falling from the loft in the shop(nothing broken) I wired up the motor starter. It made a loud boom and smoked a untimely death. I replaced it with a disconnect, all is good now.
