Markings on C'man sockets

I just bought some Craftsman sockets and while I was sorting them I noticed a few different markings. Most have the -V- or =V= marking on them that I think I understand. But some have =V V= and others have =G= or =E E= on them. Can anyone explain the different marks? Obviously later than -V- but must mean more than that.

For my sockets:
V = Moore Drop Forge, ca. 1946 - 1967
VV = Easco, ca. 1974 - 1989
G = Easco, ca. 1980 - 1989 perhaps as early as 1979
E/EE = National Hand Tools/later Stanley Works-NHT division, Taiwanese made, ca. 1982 - 1991

The great thing about that thread is that the OP will update the first listing as new info is confirmed. So, it isn't necessary to read the whole thread to learn about the code you are looking for (although when I found it, I did find the whole thread fun reading, but that's just me).
