This deal is long Dead.

I ordered a couple of these over a month ago and they just arrived. I had forgotten all about them. They are USA and from the real Martin but I expect that they were made by Western Forge. There is a little 'w f' on the back side. Nothing special or exotic from a tool standpoint but for under $3 it is a good deal.

How long will it take you vultures to break this deal?

I just noticed it says 13 left in stock. It took over a month to get my first two to me. They must have bought a box to fill my order and had some leftovers.

Sold out but still active! Showing 1-2 months delay for me. Still worth it as the WF made adjustable wrenches are very good!

Got three. It doesn't matter if they take a few weeks to get here as I will probably use them as Christmas presents.

Thanks for posting! Nice finish around the jaws and a steal for $2.83 each.

I'll be giving them as gifts in exchange for a pint.

I Ordered two sort of; but when checking out I was not too impressed with the new Amazon checkout pages and shipping price option so it's on hold. I thought $44 would be enough for free shipping but they there asking high shipping costs for to Calif.

How do they compare to Crescent Made in the USA? I got these at Sears for $17.49, that have an 8" and 12" USA Crescent.

the jaw in Crescents are sloppy

Sloppy? The Crescents seem tight to me, compared to the made in China specials I was using before.

If Crescents are sloppy compared to the Martin, I guess I'm in for a couple pairs of Martin.

Maybe the most recent Crescents are better. As of 5 years ago, I gave up on Crescent and started buying Channellock (Irega) adjustable wrenches.

If these really are made by WF, they're probably very similar to Craftsman ones.

I've been thinking about picking up a pair of those to try out. Better than WF?

Ordered two.

The hardest part was finding $35 worth of stuff to add to the Amazon cart to get free shipping. It's getting to where consumables like soap, toilet paper, coffee, etc. is way more than buying at the local store, so it's getting harder to fill the cart with $35 worth of stuff you would buy anyway. Maybe Amazon is doing that on purpose, to weed out the cherry pickers like me, that just pick and run.

Grabbed a couple... any other sizes marked down like this? I wasn't seeing any, but somehow I never find these crazy deals on Amazon.

It's not $75 a year anymore, it's $99 a year.

in for two for $6 total.

I don't need it but I'll use it as a gift. I like my China wrenches w/ rubber grip and jaws are tight.

this is a semi-deal and it will NOT be popular bc a lot of people that do serious wrenching uses fixed jaw or combo wrenches, they can get away w/ using China ones.

If you're just nut-hugging USA COO, then you got hoarding problem.

I don't use adjustables that often (or at least I try not to), I am just hoarding in this case...but my toolbox isn't full yet. :bounce:

I'm fully expecting a cancellation notice though, no way they'll keep taking a loss on these when the inventory has already been cleared.

Same with me. The only time I use adjustable wrenches is to work on a toilet or sink in my house. So a sloppy pair of made in China wrenches works just fine.

I'm just buying a couple because they are high quality made in the USA.

Wait, is the question here disputing the brand or the type of tool? Or both, since Crescent is a brand (I think)? I was about to buy one, then saw this and got confused...

These Martin adjustable wrenches are made by WF. They are high quality.

Crescent Branded adjustable wrenches were made in the US (and towards the end were terrible) then China, and it looks like they switched back to the US (ok, but not great quality).

I'd jump on this with no regrets if you need an adjustable wrench!
