These Martin adjustable wrenches are made by WF. They are high quality.

Crescent Branded adjustable wrenches were made in the US (and towards the end were terrible) then China, and it looks like they switched back to the US (ok, but not great quality).

I'd jump on this with no regrets if you need an adjustable wrench!

Just brands of adjustable wrenches, not types of tools.

I ordered 1 and received the same message last week.
Today the mail man brought a box from amazon, I opened it up and found a case of 6 of these wrenches.

Same thing happened a few months ago, I bought a box of latex gloves and received a case of 10 boxes.

why not just get a prime account? i realize its $75 a year but you get "free" 2 day shipping plus you get amazons version of netflix for "free"

I tried the free trial Prime Shipping a couple months ago. I think you get it free for 30 days, or maybe 60 days, I really don't recall.

Anyhow, between my wife and me, we ended up making a half dozen orders. I found that the "2-day shipping" is only on certain items, and out of 6 orders, only one of mine came in the 2-day mode, all the others took the normal 5-7 days. The benefit to the Prime was that the size of the order doesn't matter to get free shipping. But the 2-day thing just wasn't there for the most part.

I did not opt to spend $99 to continue the Prime deal.

It really depends on what you buy (in general).

Amazon carries a lot of a little of everything, but certainly not everything. My "groceries" are all 15% off and shipped free through their subscribe and save program (at least what they carry), and I pickup tools and electronics from them pretty often because they have a very friendly return policy. Many of these things, I can't just walk into Home Depot or Best Buy, I'd have to get shipped from some other company, and Amazon fills this niche rather well for me.

If you only buy super mainstream stuff, you're usually better off buying in stores (so to create an analogy, like Klein, Kobalt, Husky, etc). If you buy super obscure stuff (so like Nepros, Beta, etc.) only 3rd parties list them on Amazon anyways and you can't take advantage of Prime (unless they contract Amazon to warehouse the items for them). If you buy things that wouldn't be stocked in local stores, but is still a nationally recognized brand (Wera, Wiha, Knipex, etc), it works rather well. And of course when they blow stuff out, you can take advantage as well.

They probably put in an order from their supplier for enough to cover the open issues. If people we getting six instead of one, they should have run out before being able to fill all of the orders.
