According to one of their catalogs, all of their hand tools are made in USA...However, They do have a factory in China. I was hoping they would be my source for screwdrivers, unfortunately their 'global presence' makes me a little hesitant. I don't know where you would go to buy them.

Sears used to sell them as a catalog item even up until 5 years ago. Not sure about today. I know nothing about them except that they were or are offered through Sears. Just an FYI .....USA and any other Country of Origin is no indication of quality.

Martin is a US tool company that is mostly known for making wrenches and striking tools. They are not so much known for their screwdrivers, and the stuff that they don't actually make, might be imported now. I'm not sure. But all the wrenches that we get from them are USA. They are very easy to deal with and I could special order anything you needed.

I don't know about any of there other tools, but I use their body hammers, dollies, and spoons. I use them every day and I am very pleased with their performance. The quality is every bit as good as Snap-On for these items and they offer a wide selection. I have never seen anything bedsides metal-working tools from them and in fact did not even know they made Wrenches and what not.

I also have not had to deal with their customer service for any problems, so I don't k.ow how good they are on that end of things.

Also, there body tools are not far behind Snap-On in price unless you shop around a bit. I would anticipate paying 3 to 4 times as much as Craftsman.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
Martin's real claim to fame is their sprocket manufacturing, which also explains their plant in China. I would not be lieing to say that over 90% of the manufacturing plants in the US have Martin sprockets in their chain driven machinery.

LOL I have seen you posting items on a glass case and figured you would want to let me into your hoard of tools. I live in west fort worth but i make my way around there occasionally.
