Masking imperfections after water based sealer

I had my deck waterproofed (plywood, mesh, concrete, fiber... and two top coats of water based sealer) However, I’m not happy with the finished look due to the (subtle) patterns left by the concrete and fiber troweling process. I’m wondering if it’s possible to apply another layer to broadcast or mix quartz to create a more even, slip-resistant texture, using a technique similar to those in epoxy finishes.
