Masonry drill bit/fastener chart or guide?

Just bought a flag pole that has a bracket. It came with what appears to be blue generic push in/hammer in anchors and screws. The anchors look like what one would use for drywall. I wanted to attach the bracket to the brick on our house. The problem that I am probably reading too much into is matching the right size fastener to the correct size bit. Is there a chart that indicates what size masonry drill bit to use with a particular size anchor?

IE: My maxjax specifically stated what size drill bit to use. My hose reel with brick fasteners specifically stated what drill bit to use...etc.

I don't want to drill into the brick using the bit that is TOO big but just wondered if there was a general chart. I know when making threads into metal you should use drill bit size X with tap size Y.

Pole is made of aluminum and pretty light, but I wouldn't want a gust of wind to rip it out of the bricks.

This is the flag, you can kinda see the bracket:

This is what the bracket looks like:

i use plastic wall anchors with blue tapcon screws all the time at work.. using the anchors allows anyone to be able to loosen the screws, and retighten them any number of times without breaking off a screw or causing any of the holes to get too large.. what i do, is just match up the diameter of the drill bit, to the diameter of the plastic anchor right below its "collar" that is meant to NOT fit inside the hole.. i do this by eye, but really if you are unsure or dont want the chance anything, just start off with a small hole that can always be made larger..
worst case i THINK new packages of plastic anchors will have the appropiate size drill bit listed on the package if you would rather just buy your own and be sure the first time out.

So you think it's ok to use the plastic wall anchors supplied in brick? I always thought the metal ones were better to not pull out. I don't think anyone is going to try and hang off the pole, but something about plastic in brick just never seemed like it would stay put. I also didn't want a chance to strip the plastic inside, but I guess at that point I could just pull it out and put a new on in right?

Thanks for the info!
