Looking at a vise for possible purchase. Hadn't heard of Massey vise, but think that's what these pics show. Appears to be a no 32. Anybody know how big this vise is? I'm not interested in going to look at it if its only a 3in. Seller wants $50. Daughter is selling Dad's old vise; says he was a woodworker. Thoughts?

That could have been an old Morgan rebrand. Stationary base and maybe not larger then 3 1/2" if the condition of the jaws are unknown, I might pass on it.

I recently picked up a Massey No 32 vise - it has 4" jaws. It's nice enough. I was interested in this in part because I have a Massey No 17 woodworking vise on the bench already (same as the one in the last photo, below).
