That place looks amazing! Of the 2 near me one is hit or miss but typically overpriced and the other one is extremely overpriced and almost all broken chinese power tools. They had a rusty MAC cart once and wanted $900!

Wow, looks like they have some nice stuff, but kinda overwhelming to have to dig through everything that is just plied up and kinda dirty. Good stuff for $12, is everything in the store marked or is it one of those places where the price is based on how pathetic you look at the time? :lol_hitti

What state are you in?

actually i am usually in a Polo shirt as that is my work attire. the guy reminds me of a hoarder. i tried to buy the metal box above but he would not let me move the cheap tools in it to another box. i tried to buy the whole thing and he finally priced it at $40. he really liked the the box and did not want to sell it.

Ah man come on. Throw on a greasy white T, a few holes, some rough pants. Minus a few hrs of sleep and I bet you'd be down to 25¢ each in no time. :lol_hitti We have a local junk yard like that, I swear they price on how pathetic the customer looks. Based on that I must look pretty pathetic when ever I go there. ;)

Cool pawn shop. I have one that I visit monthly that has little less then that one but its pretty much perfectly organized by size and tools. With the good sets in the glass displays.

I've actually been to Blythville AR. That's where our van broke down at on the way home from Houston 3 years ago. I had to have it towed to the Oreilleys and changed the bad alt in the parking lot. Was a nice cool 123 deg with the heat index. Net some nice folks !

That pawn shop looks like my garage :shocking: I really need to clean up !!

Try to bundle your purchases together for the best deal. All pawn shops around us are over priced....usually few bucks short of new. They ****.

there was a warehouse in lagrange il years ago like this. people would bring stuff in and sell it on consignment. was great. They closed down, but i used to dig through treasures. these places are really hard to find now a days. Even flea markets have gone down hill.

I am in love with that galvanized box!!!! I have seen several like that over the years but none that were completely unrusted. 30+ years in barns have that effect. Now that you've given us a taste, you gotta go in depth with the pics!!

I have at least two home made tool trays similar to that box. Just a slightly more modern version of the custom built carpenters boxes.

Nice haul I bet that Wright 19mm Hex socket costs double what you payed easy. Plus those Plomb wrenches look clean as a whistle.
