master craft maximum tools

pass - I have several sets in different configurations, both impact and hand

Use their impact sockets daily they're holding up great so far. My only complaint is that the shallow sizes are only laser etched whereas the deeps are stamped as well as etched. Also they skip a few sizes kinda annoying.

Maximum square drive is awesome.

A family member works for Canadian Tire corporate and filled me in on quite a few things.

The brand "Maximum" is not related to "Mastercraft", other than both being CT house brands. I've called it Mastercraft Maximum for years but I was recently told they have disconnected the brands.

I'm pretty sure the Mastercraft Pro stuff was made by Stanley but the new stuff is made by multiple manufacturers and, apparently, it changes over time, even with the same model of product. CT owns the designs so they can do that.

Maximum, particularly the square drive and wrenches, is really good stuff. I believe you will do well with those tools for the rest of your life.

Ive noticed that to had to buy singles but now got a to z from sockets to impact sockets ( do you work in a shop or diy)

Thank for the info starting as an apprentice at the end of the year and not really sure what tools I'll use the most so its good to hear that I didn't by garbage lol

I've found that any Canadian Tire tool with "Maximum" on it is pretty good. And if you buy on special, the prices are ridiculously low. But they do like to skip sizes - sometimes common sizes.
