Maybe you should read the rules, heres a copy and paste to save you the trouble:

There is alot of tendency to post negative replies when someone lists an item for sale that others consider "overpriced". Negative comments will not be tolerated. To put it simply-If you dont have anything good to say; keep it to yourself. THESE TYPES OF POSTS WILL BE DELETED AT THE DISCRETION OF MODERATORS

I never understood posts like this, why do you care what he sells his box for? Don't like the price then don't buy it, it's that simple. Would you walk up to a guy selling tools at his house and tell a potential buyer that he should not buy that box? I really doubt you would so why do it here?

xllivillx you might want to straighten out your price listing so people know what price you are asking.

The better question is, has he pay for it yet? The next question is, if it is a vocational school deal, the box and contents are not supposed to be resold and you cold risk repossession for his breach of contract.

the price is 4000, the 5000 is a typo, everything is paied for, and i got it all from a driver so there is no vocational discounts on it... i just used the votech one on the website as a reference

Mod's forgive me and delete if appropriate... but he's asking an even different amount on another forum

Jeez I could get that box shipped to anyone in the U.S for $2000
even if you could get the BOX shipped for $2k could you get all those tools in there for $2k? if you can then great, leave, dont talk **** just do it.

f you can then great, leave, dont talk **** just do it.

Usually we have a bit more decorum around here than that! Especially for a guy that has his first post here as a $4000 free classified.
But hey, ya got yur free bump from me...

Seems there are a bunch of sensitive guys that want to talk ****. Give the kid a break. At least he is trying to do something. Go to school, recap some costs for a decision that did not work out. If you do not want to buy, walk away. simple. Not your problem.

Honestly that post was my fault and I apologize, I realized I was logged on Matco on my student account thats why my prices were so low. Sorry, xllivillx, didn't mean to bad mouth your price, I was just questoning the inconsistency. Good luck.

Look what has been said to him and you blame him for being defensive? So what people have more posts than him, that gives them the right to act like an ***.

"Whoaa... calm down a little man. I simply said it was posted on another forum at a different price as well (you must have edited because last I saw it was $3500)"

Again, people here started ragging all over his post and he should calm down? Not you but read the other posts.

If people would obay the rules that are at the top of the forum there would be no problems, if I moderated this section(I have moderated firearm forums) two members here would have been banned without warning. It's one thing to not know the rules it's entirely differant to know them and pretty much say **** you to the admins I don't have to obey them.

I'm saying something because the "for sale" section doesn't need to be changed like "free parking" because a few people can't mind their own business. Cause the admins enough grief and then the next thing you know this section has more rules.

perhaps a mod can delete the posts in question and give the guy a chance to sell his stuff. it looks like pretty good deal to me for tools that are "like new".

Pretty good deal or not, I am no prude, but how many swear words do we need in somebody's first 3 posts? I still feel like a guest here after lurking for a good 2 years, and 340 posts.

I agree that we should obey the rules of the forum. No problem there.
Don't walk into a new place and start spouting off. Earn the right to do so. All I'm saying.
