You probably know that MasterCool was bought out about a year and a half ago. Someone else bought them, so everyone figured parts would just come form another manufacturing plant. Wrong!
Just had a customer whose MasterCool electronic thermostat went out. Called around - no parts available. Such coolers are not easily converted to the old switch system. I found a electronic thermostat kit by Dial, and it is retrofittable to the MasterCools. But the conversion is bit of a bear and not exactly cheap to do.
And since MasterCool pushed their electronic thermostats the last couple of years they were in business, I figure ALOT of MC owners have stuff that is not OEM repairable. FYI - FWIW
