Here's how marketing works for these kinds of tools.
A manufacturer in China (1 of many offering a similar product) offers a new product. His agent and the North American distributor's buyer (Canadian Tire, Harbor freight, etc.) get in touch and decide to do business together (usually the cheapest supplier wins). They adapt the tool to the distributor's logo and colour scheme.
Bang! The same tool is sold in 10 different stores. All different but all the same.
Canadian Tire is a master at this. And they change their colour scheme and combo packages so that "collectors" stay interested and keep buying.
All that being said. I keep on buying my tools at Canadian Tire because their warranty is very good (or at least they don't ask questions). But I'm not a professionnal mechanic either.
