I've been using DeWalt 18's for a few years now they are great tools. I rarely even use my drill anymore unless I need a hole :headscrat what a concept huh?
The girl at the DeWalt store told me that they just came out with a 24v that will remove lug nuts!

I like the impacts just because I can't stand running a lag or a screw with a drill and having it bind up and twist your wrist all up.

Milwaukee has one too..... far better batteries (Lithium Ion) that are smaller and lighter to boot. http://tinyurl.com/djcn2

On a similar note, Dewalt is going to start producing 36 volt tools soon that use Lithium Ion batteries. http://tinyurl.com/a5ahr

It's about time for all these manufacturers to start utilizing newer battery technology.

When you purchase an item or gas at Canadian Tire you receive 3% cash bonus coupons (Canadian Tire Money) which is redeemable in store merchandise. So I saved all my C.T money and redeemed the coupons for the Impact gun. You can save I got it for free!!

Thread digging I know How is the impact gun holding up? Is it still in use today or have you set it aside for some reason? Would you perhaps write a review for us now that you have had it for a couple years Thanks :)

Still going strong, batteries holding a charge fine. Only one problem for me its loud in impact mode. Still my driver of choice!
Oh, I forgot, I dropped it off my roof of my single story house, battery popped out but still going with a few battle scars!
