For $24.99, not a bad deal really . . . I don't care for the design or the color scheme, but I am sure they will be fine . . .

They're probaly fine for home/hobby, but holes are against the rules IMO :D

It's a good price for that sized set, but I'd have to try them to confirm the quality of the steel

I have a set in my box at work as a back up.......

Mine are the older softer handle ones though. You can see the ones I have below shown at 19.99, I guess they haven't updated the picture yet because you can't get em anymore. I love the soft grip handle but I'm not sure about that steel. Broke a #2 clean off on a stubborn Cam-loc fastener last year.

I got one of those newer style ones in exchange the next day at Canadian Tire and it's not as nice a screwdriver I have to say.

Thinking about it though, you can get really high quality screwdrivers for really good prices such as the Wiha & Williams ones (like around $50). I have the Williams hard handles at work and they're tough as nails.

Some of the guys at work have them and they are constantly getting them replaced. The handles start spinning on the shaft on high torque screws.

I think so little of the current crop of Mastercraft screwdrivers that I won't even warranty the two or three old ones I have. Not worth driving to the store.I'll leave them in my toolbox, someday they may start selling good ones again and I'll replace them then.

Just get them and if you are not satisfied with your purchase just bring them back with bill and packaging...

I have the set that normally goes on sale for $19.99...the handles are rubbish, tore them up. Coulda just made them fully hard-handled as it's hard plastic underneath. Terrible, and they like to cam out.
