So this seemingly partial set showed up in my shop somehow....they have a tendency to do that!!! Some weird connections that tie it together. Metal case is Mastercraft from the usa coast to coast stores. However, only one piece in it says mastercraft, and thats the 15/16 socket, part number R-1230. All the other sockets inly say "ALLOY" , made in usa, but follow the same part number format, R-1232 for example. 6 inch extension is the same, alloy, and R-22. Last unique bit is the ratchet. Fleet labeled tool, with penens corp., but also following the same parts number style as the mastercraft socket, R-12. Is this adjuster style unique to the mastercraft sets? Kinda weird that mastercraft coast to coast would oack a fleet branded ratchet with their set, let alone only have 1 piece in ther say mastercraft on it, right?

The ratchet is not marked "Mastercraft", correct?
The extension has no brand name stamped on it, correct?

(** there was a generic socket with just R-XXXX stamped on it posted a few years ago. **) :headscrat

All parts in the set share a similar numbering system. R-1223, etc. Ratchet is Fleet. 15/16 socket says mastercraft. All others juat say "ALLOY" and "MADE IN USA". And all share the same style fonts, except the stylized "Fleet" on the ratchet

They’re all the same tool mfr.. Fleet/Penens, etc.. The lack of brand name seems to have been common in their store brand tools.
Mastercraft did have branded ratchets. Whether or not the set was packaged as pictured for some odd reason would be tough to say.
Cool case.
