Good price. I looked into those before i bought my 56" tool box. One thing i noiced that i didnt like was that the drawers dont fully extend out. So you have 1-2 Inches of unused space in the back.

Thanks for the info. I just purchased the 72in harbor freight. I wonder how this one compares? Any info. I think the harbor freight has a 200 lbs on the big drawer, Where this one says 100 lbs per drawer....

IMO, they're very similar, assuming they are built like the smaller boxes that both stores keep on the floor. The MF has a better system to unlatch the drawers, but otherwise I'd say build quality is about the same.

Personally, I don't care for the color or the pull trim on the HF. That's enough of a reason for me to go with the MF, if I was looking at buying either.

Just added to cart and check out to see what the delivery cost would be to TN. It's $286. I guess that's not so bad when there's no sales tax. Have no need but looks like a great box.

I want to say the drawers do pull all of the way out. I guess I have never really tried.

It's a great box. The only issue is on the long drawers, you have to pull center or sometimes it wants to hang up. Seems to be an issue with the lightly loaded drawers.

I paid $1499 and got a 10% off on top of that. By all means, buy it at $999.

The black looks great.

An extra 2" depth (box size) is nice compared to HF. The $400 to have it shipped to Washington *****:eyecrazy:

What can you do when it's not a western store at all (and you're broke and obviously can't buy either:p).

I have a 72" MF rebranded as a John Deere box. I think it's really nice. I like it a lot better than the CM stainless box I used to have. I know the big drawer can handle more than 100 lbs. too. I have all my sockets loaded up in it and have no problems. It's a great box

There's been more added since that picture.

Looking to pick 1 up.....did you use a Lowes coupon for the 10% off?

Just their typical 11% off sale. Would have been nice to save $500. I also bought the oak top. I used triple thick poly and went over it 3 times. Came out great.

It would be nice if there was a latch retrofit for the older MF boxes that slide open on the slightest of inclines and sometimes on the level if you just bump it wrong.

Masterforce 72" tool cabinet $999

JUST a quick question CLIFTONBROS89 did you just order the john deere box from your local dealer.

I've had it several months now. But yeah I was able to order it from my dealer. It took awhile for it to come in. It was on back order.

I think there's a side cabinet available. But no top box. Menards/Masterforce doesn't show anything online. However, through JD I was able to get a stainless work top and a hutch for the top.

The John Deere box is not made or sold by Menards/Masterforce. They probably have it made by the same manufacturer as Menards does though.

Menards does offer the work surfaces for the 72", I believe wood and stainless.

Masterforce 72" tool cabinet $999

I bought (2) 72" boxes........coming in 2 weeks [emoji2]

Question is are the casters installed or not?

On my 46" I had to install them..... But the 72" is a beast and I do not feel like lifting it more than I need too.

I ordered one during the last sale. Casters came installed. The only assembly required is installing the handle.

I unloaded it with my Wife. If in the bed of a pick up truck, remove cardboard and all strapping. Make sure drawers are locked. Put a few layers of cardboard down and a heavy moving blanket on the floor of the garage. Pull the box out and let it down pivoting on the center wheel. Spin box around, and then pull over and set on the casters.

For those that already own this box, how do you feel it compares to the HF 72" box? I hate the drawer lock system on the HF box and looking into alternatives

My buddy has the 56 inch HF box. I hate the drawer locks. I had the 56 inch Masterforce box before the 72 inch. The 56 had indent slides and this has the grip latch. I like the grip latch better.

I have a 41" and I think the latch system on the Masterforce box is head and shoulders above the HF box. When I compared the two before I bought mine I also found the fit of the drawers in the HF to be somewhat "sloppy" compared to the Masterforce if that helps at all.

Couldn't say. I've never been to or even seen a HF. Nor do I know anyone who has a HF box of any kind. But I can compare it to what I've seen at Sears, Lowes, and a few local hardware stores. I like Masterforce better than Cman, Kobalt and similar brands to that. I've seen a few Homacks that may be slightly better, but not as good of price.

Looked at the HF 72" box before purchasing this one, and personally I like this one a lot better (mainly the drawer locks, also felt a bit less sloppy than the HF box). The steel gauge seems to be comparable between the two. The lock system is really nice on the Masterforce 72".
