Masterforce Air compressor V.S Dewalt

I was at the local Atwoods today checking it out since I have never been in one and I just moved back to Texas and I seen 2 air compressors. One a dewalt and one a masterforce. Both have the same specs. 80 gal. 14 cfm @ 90 Psi. 240 volt. Both had the exact same compressor, only difference was serial number. Motor was a bit different. One had (and I'm guessing here) 2 capacitors (masterforce) and the dewalt had 3 Caps. The one in the middle had a red button on it. Guessing that would be a built in breaker reset. Dewalt was $999.99 and the masterforce was $699.99. only other difference was paint job. I'm assuming they are made by the same company and re-badged. What say you?

I can only venture a guess, but i would probably say chances are it's either a renamed/painted IR or DeVilbiss.
My 30gal C-Man and 5 gal Husky are a DeVilbiss.
