Hi all,

Anyone used the linked cutters on braided steel brake cables? Do they cut clean? Need a cable cutter for travel kit for my bike. I am sure Knipex and etc make nicer cuts but a lot of the places we have our polo tourneys tools often grow legs and walk away.

Your right that is probably the best choice. And it has a built in crimper. Still worried about people appropriating it.

Cannot comment on the cable cutters, however I have the pex crimping tool kit they sell with the same handles and the handles came loose and slid off. I put a little hot glue down the handles and slid them back on and I’ve had no problems since.

Make sure they are approved for cutting steel cable, and not just copper or aluminum.
