Has anyone had any luck copying keys from their Masterforce toolboxes? The plastic tops are too small for most key chains and the metal part eventually breaks off with frequent use.
I'd like to use an all metal key and wonder if anyone has been there and identified the blank.

I see the new masterforce boxes in Menards have the "barrel" style locks now. I'm not sure but I would think they would be a direct replacement and probably not that hard to do. Might want to see if you can contact masterforce or order threw Menards and just buy the new style locks. I have a top box and when/if I get the bottom I am going to try and get another matching lock.

I'm in the process of getting matching locks for my 56" roller to go with my side cabinet. I called the customer service number in the instruction manual. They told me that they are going to send me a replacement lock at no charge (very cool). I just had to give them the lock # that I needed.
It might be worth a call if it could be free .

Both good ideas, thanks.
I like the barrel locks and if that doesn't work I like free too.
