Search for menards toolboxes or something and you will come up with likely hundreds of threads.

They are a good box for the price. Very heavy duty metal on the boxes, and you can get a 56" bottom for $699, which is cheaper than Harbor freight. The box seems to be better than the HF box, and the slides work better. But that's just my two cents.

Glad somebody else said it. There are a bunch of threads on this subject.

They are very well built boxes for the money. To me they feel sturdier than HF's, but I don't like how the deeper drawers only have one slide on each side rather than two at HF. Everything is there to install a second slide, it just doesn't have them. Plus, I don't care for the color.

I look at them every time I'm at Menards. I have found nothing that feels more solid and closes more solid for the money than the Masterforce boxes. Only thing keeping me away is the drawer configuration, slightly higher price than the HF, and the color.

a friend just got in the 40" roll cab and i was really impressed with the quality, better than harbor freight or craftsman IMHO. on his, the top deep drawer did have double slides on it.

I'm not a big fan of the drawer config myself, which is why I would go with the 36". If they offered it in black or another color I would probably have one in my garage by now.

I'm still considering the Limited Edition box they have, but it isn't as sturdy as the green ones. Better color and the griplatch feature make it tempting anyway.

I have one, not sure what width, but I am not a huge fan of the drawer locking mechanism. Mine is stationary, so i elevated the front wheels so the drawers wouldn't randomly open on their own.......everything else is great

I have several. Mine are a 56" top and bottom and a 40 something top and bottom. I bought a 40 something bottom for a friend who just got his A&P ticket. Both of us like them. For the money, you cn't beat them. Issues...

The slide out table is useless or at least a PITA.
The detents are a little sticky. The box might roll toward you when opening a drawer.
I agree on the drawer layout, but you can't please all....
Green is not my favorite color, but it's a tool box. Sheesh. At least its not ....
It would be a better deal if it came with a 72" plasma screen TV and a still.

Dave.

I really like the limited edition bottom and top box. They have it on sale by me for $600

Everytime i see that box it's hard to not buy it. Seems REALLY slick.

My main beef with that box is that there's nothing that matches it.

I have two, first I don't like the color but after checking out boxes for many months I believe it is the best box in that price range. I think the limited edition box is a little more cheaply made than the green ones, otherwise I would've bought the LE.
