Masterforce Tool storage at Menards

I've posted before about receiving email notices about special pricing at Menards. They have most of the Masterforce storage line on sale. I have not seen lower prices on these. I do have the 41" top chest and am happy with it, for what it is. And yes, it is made in CHINA. If you can't afford top of the line, it may be worth a look.

BTW i have 2 of these roll cab tool boxes a 36" at home and 42" at work. These chest are amazing for the price. I prefer these to craftsman and at half the cost. The whole maintenance fleet is switching to these. The Drawers slide amazing and the casters are nice for getting around. The Frame and Drawers are Thick and solid. If you can't or want to afford tool truck brands, you won't be disappointed.

The tags in the stores looked like clearance, it made me wonder.

They seem like excellent boxes for the money, but I just can't get over that green color! Even a better shade of green wouldn't be so bad, but black would be the best.

If the masterforce boxes came in black, I would already own about four of them!
Same with the HF boxes... if they had a gloss black available in the stores, I would probably own four of them as well! I am not a fan of red or green boxes and am too lazy to paint them.

What is the best way to convince Menards and HF that we want black boxes?

I missed out on picking up the 16" side cabinet, I believe it was only $149 for Labor Day. I love my 26" combo. I do agree that the color is off, they should have gone with a darker green I think.

I LOVE my masterforce boxes. I cannot say how great they are. I have upper and lower of both the 36 and 41. I really don't care about the color......

I've also been very impressed with my Masterforce box. I picked up one of the "special edition" top and bottom box combo's a while back. It's black with green drawer trim. I'm not entirely sold on the color on it either...but it is primarily black..and better than the green versions in my opinion.

What really sold me on the 'special edition' version though was it was built with the griplatch type drawer setup. I'd take this box over a craftsman any day...and it's quite a bit cheaper if you get it on sale.
