Masterforce torque wrench any good?

I need a torque wrench for rotating the tires on my side by side. Heading to Menards later and my local store has a few of these in stock.

Or I can go to Harbor Freight on my way back and get their $19.99 wrench that I believe gets favorable reviews.

I think that's what I'm going to do. I didn't make it to Menards tonight. A 30 year old Wissota popped up on Craigslist so my priorities changed.

You can't beat the value of the he torque wrench, now if you where to use one every day i would say spend a little bit more, but I see that it's for occasional use

Yup. Very occasional. I don't put a lot of miles on our UTV. If I decide I need something better I'll put the HF in a tool box for taking on the trail.

I'm not seeing a coupon for $9.99. I do see one for $11.99.

Is there something I'm missing?

Honestly you dont need a torque wrench for a side by side. If you think the tech at the dealer uses one for wheels/tire rotation you would be mistaken.


if you are gonna buy one, I suggest the craftsman offering made by gear wrench

Don't bother with the masterpiece or other menards brands. Quality to value is not even close.

There is a Sears Hometown store about an hour away. They have a 62001 in stock. Is that the one? I do need to be up there anyways.

I'm going to get one for sure. There is a guy on another forum who had a wheel failure on his UTV that is making me want to dot my i's and cross my t's, so to speak. Plus my 9 & 10 year olds want to help me and I'd like them to understand the concept.
