Masterlift remote weak brand new everything

So garage has only been finished for couple months but as I drive up I can't just push the button with remote on sunvisor. Sometimes I gotta wave it around and push it repeatedly.

Anyone know of a better remote or an idea to fix it?

The doors and motors are kinda high since they are 14ft but I'd expect the remote to work within 20 ft of the door in or out of truck without issues.

Tried more than one remote and have you tried new batteries?

Both remotes do it, I have not tried new batteries but that is one easy idea.

I was just comparing this remote to the one for gate I can be driving up and 75 ft away and the gate opens but sometimes I have to walk upto my garage door to get it to work.

Run the antenna outside the building. That steel will make it hard for signal to get through.

when i switched over to my lift master I realized i had to hold the visor button down much longer. Range was the same, but had to hold down to activate. Worth a try

found the model of the opener LiftMaster MH 5011U.

it takes the 893max remote 315mhz,
