Am in process of finishing 1/2 of garage at a time (2.5 car garage) with epoxy then clear coat but still fearful of hot tire pickup. I was thinking of maybe using a mat for under each tire (2 long mats instead of 1 large mat).
I saw Auto Care Products Inc 70099 20-Feet by 23-Inch Heavy Duty 50-mil Vinyl Protector Strips and thought that may be ok.
Figure it would protect from hit tire pickup.... or would it?
I don't suspect the mats themselves would affect the paint?
Thoughts.... opinions on this or others or type of material?
