Matching brick color

I'm going to add some brick to the outside of my new workshop project to try to make it match the house a bit.

The brick on my house is 23 years old and I would like to get as close as possible. Anybody recognize this brick color or have suggestions how best to go about matching existing bricks?

I have a few dozen original bricks left over from a remodel project. One guy said he thought they may be Boral.

(I know almost nothing about bricks, so any help is appreciated)

Find a local brickyard or brick supplier. They should be able to help you out and get something close.

You may also want to check CL for bricks in your area. You may find some tearing a place down that had used the same color brick as you.

That won’t be a problem. As others have said, take a few to a local brickyard. I had a addiction done to my 1953 brick house and they matched up great. I did have the addition setback a few feet in the front so the old and new were not side by side. On the back of the house, there is a downspout which masks the old vs. new.
