A nice trapper pattern, Krusty. A California clip and an extended spey blade. ARguably the two most useful blade patterns you can find on a knife. The bolsters look brass in the photo (due to the light) but they are probably nickel silver. Possibly made by Schrade USA? Can't quite read the maker's name on the blade...

As if you hadn't heard the story before, Schrade, one of the old proud names in American cutlery, recently packed up and went to China. This caused much hand-wringing and bitterness among the Knife community (the same sorts of sentiments that are regularly found here) but the deed is done. So nowadays you have to look closely to see if you have a new Chi-rade or an older made in USA Schrade.

This is a USA made knife which makes it more desirable. If you want top dollar, seek out the Schrade collectors at bladeforums and knifeforums...
