Anyone have the Matco 18V infinium 4 1/2 in cordless angle grinder? I was wondering how it worked, I'd like to try and find one. It isn't listed on their website anymore so I hope my Matco guy might be able to track one down. Or if anyone has one for sale, I'd be interested...don't need a battery or charger, have those already.

It's either that one or the new C3 Craftsman one, since I already have batteries for both.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
I've noticed that there a more than a few thing recently discontinued by Matco. When the new 12 volt 1/4" impact wrenches came out that they were longer/ larger than the old 10.8 volt models yet they had the same torque, so I ask my dealer to get me another 10.8V so he called their warehouse in Nashville and according to the person he spoke to they only had one left but if his/my order happened immediately they would not guarantee that a 10.8V would arrive.

So my dealer placed the order and took a chance, fortunately when he opened his next shipment it was a 10.8V. I am not sure if they are out of stock on the grinder since don't list it, but I recommend contacting your dealer to see if he can still get one.

They are discontinued. I just bought one with a battery for around $180!! Then they discontinued the 18V shear, same price $180 with a battery. If your Matco guy was on the ball and ordered some he might still have one or two left. Now I have used it a few times in the shop but I got it mostly for the junkyard treasure hunts in the summer.
