Hey guys,

I was debating pulling the trigger on a Matco 4s triple bay with hutch and side locker. The box is only a year old and in minty condition. The guy selling will go as low as $4150 for everything. From what I’ve seen around my area it seems reasonable... thoughts?

If proper minty it a very acceptable deal if it setup and color you looking for .
Price very much down to your local market, your needs and how much you like the configeration .
If scruffy I be paying less but if proper mint and been fully paid for they worth sensible money .

While the 4's is Matco's base pro model and not my favorite, he has a lot of money in that triple bay with hutch and locker so it is a reasonable price if you like the box and it is real nice.

I sell used boxes and I can tell you it is hard to find folks that have that kind of money to drop on a box so if you decide to let it sit with a standing offer of less, don't be surprised if he calls. If you do pull the trigger at that price, it is a fair deal though lots here will disagree

Considering the double bay 4S box that I have, no hutch or locker, retails new for about $6k last I checked... I think that's a good deal.

That's a lot of tool box, too big for the old, tight shop I work in. 4S is still a very solid box they just lack the trim, springy caster/wheels and such, that the higher end toolbox lines have. They also only come in the one drawer configuration

Got my double bay 4S with power drawer, 6 months used, but still looked band new, for $4000 off the truck... about 3-4 years ago... I also traded in my old box so I didn't really pay him $4k. Now I'm out of space again and need a side locker. About $1800 for a new one off the truck [emoji53]
