I've been looking at carts. I'm leaning towards a sunex 8057 as I really like the size. People seem to really like them but I've seen a few comments about thin metal and them arriving defective or damaged. I decided to see what the Matco man had to offer before I pulled the trigger. He has a jsc on the truck and a rat fink msc at home. I'd probably go msc between the two. I've had hands on experience with both of them but I've never seen a sunex in person. I would be working out of it 5 days a week so quality matters. Us general is bigger than I'd really want by the way
Does anyone know how they compare?

I bought this cart from HD three plus years ago, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074JJNPPX/?tag=atomicindus08-20 been very happy with it, I had a mishap and bent the slides on one side and was able to replace with no big issue.
It did take till the third time to get a good cart and I got a discount each time, lol.
I've had SO boxes for the last 30 years, currently a 68"Epiq, it's a good cart, not the same but I have no regrets.

Sunex makes the Matco MSC4 carts if I'm not mistaken. You just pay a premium for the name. There is something like a 90 day warranty through MATCO though. They will not help you after that.

I'd get the 8057 and find a source to buy a set of replacement slides up front. They WILL wear out, part number should be RSRBS (MATCO will charge you $50 each, but can be found for ~$30). The metal structure will hold up fine but might rust if you are in a very humid or wet environment. I think it's powder coated but the process doesn't result in a great chemical bond to the metal in my opinion.

Thanks for the responses. The dimensions are almost identical between the msc and 8057, so I was wondering if it was the same cart with different drawers. I didn't want to ask him about that straight up, but my matco guy said theirs has the adjustment detents. Those wore out really quick on my old jsc, but would indicate they at least put beefier slides on it

Old thread, but hoping someone found the slides. I have a Matco MSC4 and needed a pair of drawer slides. Called them and they had them (RSRBS) for about $50 a pair which seemed reasonable. When I got them, they were wrong and Matco can't seem to figure out why. The correct one has one horizontal tab and one vertical tab. What they sent had 3 vertical tabs, and every listing I find for a RSRBS looks the same. The correct slide is on top. No markings on it that I can find. Help!

HF full bank similar dimensions and 1200 lb weight capacity, and you can try in store before you buy. Normally $600 but you can get it for $500 on sale frequently.

I had a MSC4 full drawer cart and this is what I came up with back in '20, Looks like it may be what you'd need (see the link in the link)
