I have a small Matco box I am going to list on Craigslist here in PHX.. Box is ok could use some restoring but still works. Some of the drawers are a little sticky. Could use a repaint , One of the handles is missing . Basically still in the same shape as it was when I purchased it years ago from a guy in Vegas. Was going to sell it for what I purchased it for 350.00 just wondering if that is a fair price? Roger
Width - 33.5" (this does not include the handle)
Height - 40.5'
Depth - 18.5"
Drawers measure 29.5" wide & 16 3/4" deep

I think for a truck brand box that is still a heck of a deal. Not too much, and not too low.

If that's what you paid for it and you sell it for the same you did good.

I'd buy it, but I'm a little far.

Edit: Are you getting another box? You can trade it in with the truck brands.

I think that's a great price for that box. 350.00 is where I'd start with my pricing on that box. Good luck with you sale. I love my Matco box. If I was closer I'd but it for a box to have at home.

Is it friction or ball bearing drawer? That is a good old Matco box. Should be something like an MB920 or MB9200 if ball bearing. What do you mean by one handle missing? Are you talking about the side handle?

Depending on in person condition and the slides, I'd say that is towards the top end price wise for that box. Honestly your competition at that point is the HF44" bottom. While it isn't a truck brand box, it is brand new, clean, same amount of storage, BB and ready to use. For me, personally I'd probably be more around $250. You can always list it at $350 and if someone comes in person with cash, decide then what you are willing to let it go for.

Just my 2¢

  • Ball Bearing drawers / slides
  • Side handle is what is missing.
That makes good sense on the pricing. Not a big deal for me on getting what I originally paid. I have priced it on Craigslist for 275. will see what happens. thanks for the suggestions / input..
