I'm looking at this on Craig's list.the asking price is 2000. I'm not very familiar with Matco boxes....which snap on series would this compare to? Is 2000 a good price? Thanks

I would compare those to the kra (classic 78) 2k isn't to bad. Whats the production date? Maybe offer 1700 and see if the seller takes it

Matco 4 series bottom box usually goes for $1800-2500 around here in CA.
I think $2000 for top and bottom is good deal.

$2000 is still a great price for the combo. Don't let it get away if you are looking for a pro-level box.

Is it just me, or do these boxes seem way overpriced? Matco, SO, whatever- they all seem so expensive, especially when compared to new Lista boxes, which look like better quality, and have more ordering options, etc.

I don't get it.

Yes bottom only around 1500-2000. I would buy at that price but you could make an offer to save a couple bucks.
