Matco and Cornwell hardline tools are not made buy the company name sakes, Danaher is owner of Matco like Stanley owns Mac. Snap on tools are mostly made by the Wright tool company which are very good tools and are US made although some are from Taiwan. Want to see something cool, look at a De Walt saws all and a craftsman there the same thing! Mac tools are US made by Mac in there plant in Texas but they do have some that are also made in Taiwan.

What was the source of Snap On being made by Wright? Also, I didn't know MAC still made anything in the US.

A lot of mention of danaher, but do they even have their own plant anymore? Where is it? I'm not talking about joint venture subsidiaries either.

I would say 75% of what you just wrote was dead wrong.
