not pinless in the adv version............ wich is better, don't ask me i'm way to biased to grey pneumatic i love there sockets. but i do own some matco pinless swivels and they kick ***
The consensus on here (as well as seeing some for comparison at my last job) is the Matco ADV sockets are Gearwrench re-brands. Matco offers their own sets though, with a different mix of sockets than the GW sets. Good quality impacts, but I wouldn't pay full Matco price for them.
Both of these. I have the SAE part of that set and like them, the walls are decently thin too. I bought them as individual racks, and though the price wasn't half bad, even compared to the GW equivalent, which stops short of the sizes offered as ADV.
Never been a fan of the pin swivels, but you can find the pinless swivel used or as Armstrong or Craftsman cheap... but figure if you buy Craftsman, you have a few years of warranty before they're in BKP, don't sell it anymore, or sub a ****** Chinese version with the same part #. I've only ever had one break out of 2 sets of swivel sockets and all 3 sizes of swivel, and I've put them on my 3/4" gun with 2 reducers.
