i have been doing lots of research on these two scanners cant seem to tell much of a difference except screen size and the maximus 2.0 u can use the add ons but software they seem the same .

one of the techs who works for me just bought the maximus 2.0 hes really green still so i have used this more than him i really like the idea of this scanner and all i have used it on it preforms well i did find it would reprogram a tpms system on an 08 gx470 lexus where my aultel ds708 would not

i do have a verus , an ds708, and a tech 2 .
im thinking it would make a great addiction but witch one

Same software on both the only real difference is how you buy the software, max go you rent it by the month, with the 2.0 you buy it in one chunk and if you can use it without updating it,the max go if you do not pay it is just an obd2 generic scanner, our euro tech uses a max go exclusively for his work.

If you want full coverage go with the Maximus. The max go will cost you $105 a month plus the purchase price.

If you only use it sparingly for certain brand it may make sense

The max go is the same software as the maximus. Its the maxme that you buy the subscriptions for. I had a max go, sold it. It had good coverage, but I found it a little clunky compared to snap on, especially when viewing data, graphing in particular.

I myself find it is a great "ADDICTION" !!!!
The software is the same, you cannot add the scope, different screen size and am not certain of the processor.
I think a MAXGO would be a good addition to my Autel 906, and old Solus Pro.

I have the DS708 and think it is useless unless it has the older software that was a copy of the OEM tools that is rumored to have been wiped :3gears: out or watered down on the updates.

I went with the Maximus 2.0 myself but that was before the max me came out
The biggest difference is per make subscriptions or every make and up to 2 graphs at a time on maxme and 4 for max2.0
And cables are separate thru maxme but all included on 2.0

I would like the new 2.0a since they fixed memory issues with os (only internal) not from sd card like you can from cell phones needs to be rooted

And keep in mind I use my solus ultra more since it does what it says 100% of the time like zero point calibration on Lexus where the max does what’s it says about 70% of the time

Play around with one first they do so much as the user interface can be a bit confusing like resets on European vehicles

Best option is ask for local launch rep to demo fo you that is who makes the scanner
