Hi everyone,
I'm looking for help in replacing a bcm in a nissan, I have the matco maxme and couldn't find an option to write vin/relearn on it. I spoke to someone at matco and they said it could be done, but so far haven't found an option.
any insight would be much appreciated !

That's why I bought the maxme, Matco said I can reprogram/relearn the vin on to the bcm.
This I the third scanner I bought to do the bcm.

Most scanners won't do that unless it's factory specific. I doubt the launch will either unless there's a programming ads on module. And even then launch isn't something I would choose

The verus won't even program them.

This is very frustrating, I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. The stealership wants 400 for the programing of a new bcm, I thought I could buy a maxme ( ebay 450) and program it myself and come out with a decent scanner.

A otc Genisys Touch could do that, used about $1400, but an OEM Nissan scan tool, and a subscription to it is the best way to avoid issues. If you think that *****, try Volvo....

The otc is way out of my price range, thankfully in still in the 14 return for the matco so looks like i gotta vist the stealership.

The matco can re-write the vin in the pcm in certain nissans, not all. I'd imagine bcm's work the same way. Just call a mobile programming guy. Much cheaper then spinning the roulette wheel on scanners.

I know I've done an 07ish pathfinder with no problem. Recently tried a newer car, completely forget what it was, and could not. And that would be a negative in socal.
