I have a bit of a dilema with my cut off wheel. I let someone borrow it the other night and when they changed out the cut off disc the broke the left handed hex screw that goes through the nut that holds the disc in place. It looks like part of the screw is still inside the tool. Im not sure if I can get it out because its down towards the bottom of the hole.

If I can get it out, is it possible to get a replacement screw?

Im thinking its probably a good idea to have the screw there when operating the tool because it is reversible and I think it keeps the larger nut from coming loose when operating the the opposite direction correct? Or should I just use it without the screw?

Can't reach with a drill bit and easy out? If it screws in clockwise then maybe a left handed drill bit might catch it and back out ( or vise versa )

Thanks for the info. Now I just have to figure out how to get the bottom end out.
