I just bought a Matco Pro Performance Series roll cab-56x24x40+/- in nice shape. Can't find anything about this series of box. Can someone let me know something about them? Low end? The fellow I bought it from said his buddy bought it new from the truck about four years ago for about $3500. Sound right? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Although the lablel was off the back of the box, I've been searching the net and the best I can tell is that it is a Matco MB 4725. How have these held up? Are they liked by owners? Any problems? Thanks

there are a couple guys that have them here.......IIRC justinmc and chris adams. hopefully they will speak up. i worked for a guy who had one, it seem's as good as the rest of the matco boxes. i believe they are the same quality just less fancy trim.

Hi, Pm'd you about the box.
Yup, I own one. Like it.

The top drawer has that built in divider, which is also a reinforcement. Don't like it, but do like how well the drawer works. The four slides on it handle the weight of the sockets with ease.

Funny thing about the name “PRO-FORMANCE” the Torin built box right next to it is named a PROFORMANCE, without the dash.

I have one also, no real complaints, except mine has that stupid cover that comes down over the fronts of the drawers on the top box, which I find inconvenient.

See now that is one thing I actually wished my box (SO KRL1022) had. To me it seems like it would help to keep things more organized and separated like big pry bars from my sockets and drive tools.

I bought six Matco MB 4725's a couple years ago.

They were close outs and I can tell you the price was cheap ($1200 each)

They've held up well so far. Matco makes great boxes and I've no complaints.

Yep, just got mine home. It is different from what I really was looking for(I wanted two long top drawers) but it was a deal and in good shape. I think I'm going to like it once I decide tool placement.

Mine has two graphics on the tall bottom drawers, one of Gary Scelzci race car and the other I don't recall(I'm at work right now). Is this a special edition or did they all come like this? Seller found the sticker from the back for me--MB4725SCZ,BLK/BLK SCELSI LABEL-00, DATE OF MFC-10/20/00

Thanks for advice. Rick

Does being a special edition made it worth any more? This is rather cool as I live in Fresno California and Gary Szcelci is from here also. Rick
