So my lovely matco dealer at work let us lay hands on a new 3/8 impact thats not yet for sale. He clames it can put out up to 600ft/lb torque. All I can say after using it is WOW!!! This thing is crazy! Its stronger then my 1/2 impact, smaller, lighter, and just all around amazing. It rips lug's off no problem and suspension parts are no match for this little guy! My only complaint is when really ripping it it can get a hair bit loud, not as loud as cheaper impacts by any means though. Sadly though, its not for sale yet. He didnt say any price or release date on the thing but I am defiantly getting me one for sure! I highly recommend keeping an eye out for one of these!:rocker:

Do you just really hate your 3/8's impact sockets or what? :lol_hitti

Yep **** them things. Matco shouldn't come out with a gun that powerful if they don't want me beating them that hard. That's the logic I've used with the 1/2 swivels, 1/2 to 3/8 reducing extensions that it says are great for their sockets, and air hammer bits. 'Course I spend enough money it doesn't much matter what I do with my stuff its getting warrantied.

Hmmmm.....Gonna wanna check that one out. The MT2138 is also a great gun, rated at 500 torques.

I have broke 3 deep SO deep impact sockets with my IR2115. I can't imagine how many I would with double the torque. Does it look like an IR?

Ya pretty much! Its about 1lb lighter too give or take. It is defiantly a socket breaker thats for sure! But also a lifesaver at the same time. just dont use junk sockets i guess! My matco 3/8 impacts took it well and my craftsman 19mm 1/2 drive took it well also.
