Matco ratchet question

Does anyone happen to know how many teeth the Matco BR12LFTA ratchet has?

I just brought one on ebay...

I have an Armstrong 36t, same as your Matco, but standard length. It's a complete pos. Same thing as a Craftsman 36t ratchet, but a different handle. I absolutely never use it. Hopefully you didn't pay a lot for it.

Never thought of that. Yes it could be 34 and 1/2 toofers

You guys are right, I just received the ratchet and it's a 36-tooth version. The seller told me he thought it was around 80-tooth, but that it wasn't as smooth as his snap-on 88-tooth (no kidding)...

I paid $55 with shipping. However, I do like to locking adjustable head.

Ouch. If you have the messages through eBay of the seller saying it "was around 80-tooth" you can file for a "not as described" return (just so you don't have to cover the return shipping). I would, I loathe the old Craftsman 36 tooth mechanism.

Yes, that's exactly what I've done. Luckily the message was sent through eBay. I should know the status of my claim in a few days...

If I can return this ratchet. What ratchet of this style would you recommend? I would like it to be at least 60-tooth. Used or new doesn't matter much to me, I just want it to be high quality.
