I'm interested in possibly upgrading from my basic triple bay 4s 72" roll cab work box. I'm running out of room and likewise organization is suffering a bit. Some add-ons would solve my room issue but upgrading the main cab makes more practical/financial sense to me. I do have limited room at my current job. I have a good active Matco dealer and I do love their tool boxes. Snap-On boxes are very nice too...

Anyway what do you think about them? Do you own one? Likes or dislikes? Image is just an example. Looking at a 3-bay. I am sure I would be very happy with a deep 6s also...

There is just something that looks off with the massive forehead and all that wasted space above the first full length drawer. Very non-traditional, I do like the drawer pulls though.

I should caution you that supposedly you can't mount a side locker without removing the corner trim off the roll cab, hutch, and side locker. I never understood why, but that's what he tells me.

Here's a screen shot of Flat Rate Master's box.

I think they’re still running a promo for a free side locker or hutch. I was inches away from getting a revelX then my snap on guy shoots me a text saying he’s got a triple bay KRL1163 for less than half with rebate and extra goodies....

Has to do with making the unit look like one piece, as I understand it.

Nice looking boxes overall.

In pictures I think they look stupid as hell. In real life kind of cool just because they are so big. My big turn off is the box is pretty much all shallow drawers.

They'll configure it with any layout you want. The only limit is with the power drawers.

I think they look like something out of a Transformers movie or something. Not a fan at all of the looks. Very "toy" feel.

My dealer has a few on his truck and they just look dumb next to a classic 6 series.

I believe they are still running that promo. "Free" Add-On includes paying full retail with no discounts for the main box is my understanding after inquiring about said promo. I considered it also.

I'm not sold on the looks of the Revel for sure yet. Seems like people hate them or love them (looks). Functionality/layout would probably work well for me. The trim removal "issue" doesn't really bother me, at least not looking at pics...

If i can get a decent deal on a revel I will highly consider it. If I can get a better deal on a 6s or similar pro box, I will go that route. I want to give snap on guy a chance too. Thanks for the opinions, keep em coming.

I actually have never been on a Matco truck but I think with 2 side lockers they dont look that bad. Maybe closer in looks to a Macsimizer than the traditional Snap-on or Matco 6

Considering that is a matco hallmark I figured they would. I am simply holding back from assuming this, because at this point, I have never seen one configured different. Also matco's sales info is rather vauge on these boxes and it's never covered on what's available to change up.
