i mailed matco some maroon hard handle screwdrivers that were made in usa. the tips were bad. i got back some orange screwdrivers made in taiwan. i thought matco was using witte for their screwdrivers? same thing with a torx bit i sent in, no marking on it or the packaging.

Couldn't tell ya but I can tell you that all of my Matco screwdrivers are made by Witte.

they carry two different sets ... one is the cheap rubber handle and the other are a tri-lobe design by witte with flocking to maintain grip even when your soaked in atf

The Mac Macsimizers I have are assembled in the USA of USA and British materials. They have the purple handles.
