I recently bought a nice cornwell full drawer cart for near same price and think its nice. That said I sort of wish I would have gotten the HF 44" box for less or 56" box for not much more. Either could be expanded with upper boxes and side boxes but if you need a cart the Matco looks nice.

350-400 is about the going price for those used carts. Retail is a little over 800 as he stated. Not a bad buy but of course always try to haggle!

Those are better and bigger than the hf carts. Both are still good. If he took $350 that would be a great deal.

I just bought a similar matco cart but with only two full length drawers, and no gas props for the lid, and it was used. I think I paid 250 from my MAC dealer. Im happy with it besides the fact that the sides have long extension/prybar storage racks which get covered by the lid when you lock it, but none of my snap-on prybar handles are short enough to fit in there with the lid shut.

That is good price for what it is. Own two Matco carts. One like that one and one with drawers the full height. Great carts

I recently bought an identical slightly used cart as the one your looking at for roughly the same price. I'm very impressed with the build of the cart. Definitely worth it in my experience.

I have that cart in black at work. I bought it over 10 years ago when they first came out. It has been loaded with tools and rolled all over the shop. Last year it got pretty difficult to move around. I found the casters pushing in the floor of the cart so the mounting plates were no longer level. I took it home and built a subframe for the bottom and got new casters for it. I was surprised when I saw china stamped in the bottom of a matco cart. I had no idea. It has been a great tool cart and I am still using it today. $400 is not a bad price for it but I would look close at that HF 5 drawer cart if I had to buy another one today.

I'd say you got a good deal at $50 even though it needs some things. It's a much better cart than HF. Did you order a lock for it? I need to get a new one for mine

thats an insane deal at $50. i sold the 4 drawer version of this cart for $400 last year less than 12 hours after posting it. mine was in a little better condition that the one you picked up, but still. thats one hell of a deal imo.

Not so fast.
For just another $950, you could've gotten another drawer.

I realize you're being funny, but that's a crackhead price. There's one on Seattle Craigslist for $950, both are more than a brand new one off the truck in any color you wanted. I paid $300 for my 4 drawer Matco off the Snapon truck and it was as close to new as you could get. OP got a serious deal on his at $50 though

That actually looks really cool. Matco makes some of the best looking carts. Someone on here got a yellow 1 drawer for free by doing some work on the truck and I loved the style of it. Great job getting that for $50, another $20 in parts and time and you got a really nice cart. If you dont wan't it I can tell you where to drop it off :).

hey if its not too late cancel the support order I have two I took of mine when I changed to struts. you can have them for the cost of shipping. PM me if interested.

Finally got around to ordering some parts for it. Each handle was $15.90 :wtf:. The guy couldn't believe it either. So I only got two handles for now, a lock, and two supports for $75. He said everything should ship tomorrow. Now I just need to figure out what I need to get for the HF buffer and hope that I can buff most of that paint out.

Nice deal! I recently got a Blue Point cart off Craigslist for $40, has the screwdriver rack and fold up table. Service carts are the **** if you have to move from hangar to hangar or shop to shop regularly.
