matco spark plug sockets

I am looking at some Matco branded spark plug sockets 5/8 and 13/16 standard and universal are all these made in USA I know there sets are usually oversea

I know this set is I was talking about the 2 piece set swivel.

Never really liked craftsman sockets they always seemed really thin and not hold up over time

nothing wrong with craftsman spark plug socket at all.

but I like my snap-on magnetic spark plug socket.

i have that set. its nice but i pretty much only use the 13/16 and i dont like how that set only has 1 length of the 13/16. but if you use the 5/8 alot thats a really good set. being magnetic and having the swivels built in are pretty handy.

I bought used snap on off ebay for pretty cheap. Not sure if you want used or not but you can usually find some good deals.

Somebody just started a thread about Matco dumping Trusty Cook in favor of a Taiwanese supplier for deadblow hammers; that means the spark plug sockets will probably be supplied by GearWrench.

Yeah for $90 on a tool truck this is a good value. I have them and they are my first grab when I am doing spark plug removal if those don't work I look for an alternative.

the OP is looking for shorty swivel spark plug sockets. I would shop snap on for those if you want USA made for sure. It would be around $120 for the 2 but hey my least you know they won't randomly give you Taiwan or china now or as replacements in the future.
