I signed up to find more info about refurbishing a recently acquired Matco tool chest. It’s in OK shape, but it needs a bit of TLC to function smoothly.

Where can I look for replacement parts?

Unit: Matco 10th anniversary
Date: 1989
Issues:
- 3 or 4 drawers need new bearings.
- All of the drawers need the plastic clips that retain the drawers sliding components.
- could use new liners, but I’m sure there are plenty of universal cut to fit liners
- damaged lock
- rectangular end caps for the frame

As far as I can tell, it’s the original paint. The gent I purchased it from bought it slightly used off the truck, and itstayed at his house. It seems this color combo was exclusive to the 10th anniversary “special edition”

It has ball bearing sliders and the side box is modular (hangs over either side)
