matco toolbox end cab compatibility

shot in the dark but here goes:

i have matco 4s box with 27" deep drawers. i want a side cabinet or locker of some sort for it, but the matco side cabs cost more than i want to spend on add-on storage. hoping to see if anyone has had any experience mounting cabinets from different brands.

normally i would ask my matco guy but he's been suspiciously absent as of late.

That 6 series top chest is gorgeous. I'd be looking for a bottom box to match.

Most side cabs in the past just had a lip that hung on the lip on the top edge of the roll cab. So as long as you have a lip on your roll cab, most any brand would work

still making payments on the bottom box lmao, and the purple is absolutely not negotiable. i got the top box from my matco guy at a STEAL of a price.

Pretty sure they all hang from the lip. The bolts are almost optional. I don't have any in my side cab, the locker is bolted because they were easy to get to.
