LOL what a lame way to push a product. I guess they should also test how well it floats or cooks breakfast...or offer toolbox crash insurance?

Also, am I blind or did the Matco box appear "not square" after it was dropped? They really didn't zoom in on the gap there  ..they just checked off their little check boxes and moved on.

I think the whole thing is a HUGE crock and here's why. I sure wish they would make car panels that pop back out like that. They must have used two boxes. If the pic doesn't turn out good, stop the video at 43 seconds and see for yourself.

after looking at the video again, they absolutely used two boxes. looks to me they dropped two, one from high originally, then a shorter drop that they used as the comparison box. the one in the pic above is mangled, and when they show multiple hits to the beam, and the other is not mangled. its obvious when you pay close attention.

agreed, what a crock.

I just threw my Snap on classic 78 in mint condition out to the curb if anyone wants it they can have it after seeing this video if this ever happens to my box (being held ten feet off the ground and there happens to be a railroad tie on the ground directly below) and it falls i would never forgive myself for not buying the Matco box

at the 20 second there is what appears to be another blue box:dunno:

and when they flip the matco box back upright I only see the 2 eyelets by the casters and none near the top of the box.:dunno:

Besides being a crappy advertising video on Matco's behalf, they've also gone and deleted all the negative comments people had left and only leaving the two positive ones. Pretty weak if you ask me.

It's suppose to show it can support the weight of the truck duh. I think it's a hell of a lot better marketing wise than dropping a toolbox on the ground.

A bunch of 4x6's can support the weight of that truck. What is your point? Now if they show another box breaking under the same load, that is a different story.

How about fully loading a box and then pushing it off a cliff. I just want to know in case that happens with my tool box. Tool companies seem to insult professional techs with marketing like this.

Very few of the marketing videos are worth anything. Some of them i actually find insulting like they think everyone who purchases their products has only 2 functioning brain cells and likes shiney objects and flashy colors.

anyone notice how nice, clean, and new the black snappy is before they drop it. then after dropping it, its all dirty, scratched and used looking? and not on the contact side, around the name plate on the front.

what a devious ploy. bad matco.
